as fast as you can. You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man.

This is my current favourite Friday drink.

I make the syrup myself. It’s so worth it.

The Gingerbread Man

30mls Citrus Vodka
30mls Cointreau
30mls Gingerbread Syrup
Juice of 1 lime

Mix all ingredients in cocktail shaker.

Pour some syrup into a container & dip your upturned glass into the syrup & then rim with sugar before pouring the drink.

Relax & enjoy.

Gingerbread Syrup
1 cup
water, 1 cup sugar, 1 tbs honey, 5cm piece of ginger sliced, 1 cinnamon stick, 8 cloves, 1/2 tsp allspice berries, 1/2 tsp black peppercorns, 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg.

Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to the boil & then simmer gently for about 20 minutes. Allow to cool, pour through a fine sieve & then store in fridge.
