No time for SNAPits this week.

Eight years went by, eight long years of waiting
Til one day a tall stranger appeared in the land
And he came with lawyers and he came with great ceremony
And through Vincent’s fingers poured a handful of sand

Paul Kelly & Kev Carmody

Song writers as storytellers…what a project!

Crafting up a bit of a movie with the big girl…I’ve had so much fun!!!

i’ve heard that song so many times but i still get a bit choked up when he sings that exact part, in a happy ‘good things happen ‘ kinda way…

Its a fabulous song. And a story never told when I did history at school.

(Um, I’ve seen Gough portrayed in many different ways … but this is the most interesting. Are they Little People?)

Are you hoping to grow some big people from your little people?

Great song, I used to love seeing Paul Kelly play live (with ‘The Dots’ in the 80′s and then later ‘The Coloured Girls’).

Love this song – I only know the Kev Carmody and Tiddas version. An entire history lesson in one moving and incredible song.
