My luck at the Op Shop (Thrift Shop) has been amazing. In a couple of minutes you’re about to see just how amazing.
So much good stuff…I can’t keep it all to myself & ever present in my mind is the move this time next year.
I’d like to share my good fortune.
If you’d like to leave your dearest Op Shop Wish here in the comments you just never know your luck.
Just in case you’re worried about declaring your love of say “salt & pepper shakers – made in Japan” go & read this.

My dearest op show wish list is to find a F & P 'happy apple', I have mine from my childhood, but it met with a heater at some stage & came out worse for wear. I will find one ONE day, when you found yours a while back it gave me hope that they are out there, keep your eyes peeled koo!

What I’ve been after for a while now is one of those old wire cages that you put a bar of soap in and swish around in the sink for bubbles. My nanna used to have one

I would love to find an old floral china butter dish… It just needs to be large enough to fit the normal size stick of butter.

I would love to find a vintage coffee pot that brews properly… A shabby chic one at that! I am also always on the lookout for blue colourway Holly Hobbie sheets… Mmmm That Genie is spectacular BTW – well done!!

I have two op shop wishes. One is vintage pyrex refridgerator dishes with the clear glas lids intact. I often dream about these but am yet to find one.
My other wish is vintage tablecloths, especially ones with big fat floral prints and polka dots. I used to come across these quite often but in the last few years the op shop pickings have been mighty slim. They all seem to end up on ebay at ridiculously high prices.

dearest Koo,
Whilst you are out shopping, if you happen to come across a vintage picnic basket, with all the bits in it………I would die a thousand deaths!!!!!
oooo Katie, pop over and see me on my blog, I brought a stack of vintage sheets etc from e-bay the other week and in it is a PUNKY BREWSTER doona cover – little punkies one side and a BIG punky on the other………you are most welcome to it, I have been scratching my head as to what to do with it, I would be HAPPY to gift it to you!

Dear Op Shop Fairy
I’d like some embroidered hankies or pillowcases and a fully adjustable dressmaking mannequin and a big stash of pretty buttons that don’t need to be washed before use.
Thank you.

I would love to know where all these lovely op shops are that you go to!
I am green with envey to see your lovely coffee cups and I was saying to mt partner the other day, we need a butter dish! They just don’t make them like they used to.
I am making my self a grannie square blanket as I doubt I will ever find one quite as beautiful as the one you found!
Best wishes
Zoe
