Little things…
-This magnificent teeny, tiny dress via Melanie (who is also into the teeny tiny).
-Wren Handmade such delicate crochet.
-Great people, namely…
Melanie
Megan
& Jeanamarie who are taking full advantage of the “chat” in the new commenty thing.
I’m interested if you think the new system is a pain in the neck or quite valuable? Did you know that if you enter your email address when you comment then JS Kit will email my response to your comment? You can also respond to other people’s comments & the same thing will happen. It’s kind of cool & a bit twitteresque.
This little envelope of tiny granny square crochet jewellery is going in the post tomorrow.
No more tiny crochet posts…I promise.

I don’t get replies when I enter my email, never have :/ I have to come back and check (which isn’t a problem though) but that might be because I’m leaving a comment as a guest?

I love the tiny stuff! The more miniature the better! I must admit… I’m a wee bit apprehensive of anything new… including the new commenting format. But I’m kinda old school about way too many things.

I wouldn`t mind if you kept posting with teeny tiny crochet as I love it so much, I watch your blog for some time and today I see link to my tiny dress, but why no photo? anyway, I love your crochet and your blog, thanks for a comment on my flickr…
take care
I.

Thanks for visiting Izabela. I get worried about posting other people's stuff on this site because I don't do it & I don't want readers to think it's mine. It really bothers me when people leave comments like "Your tiny crochet dress is beautiful" when the person posting isn't the maker.
I LOVE the crochet hearts…superb.

Thanks for the tiny love Maya. Yes I’m still undecided about the comments too. I’m finding it’s a wee bit hard to follow because of the volume (my replies making up 1/2 of what you have to wade through).
I don’t know – maybe I should only reply to direct questions (but then I may as well just stick with blogger).

hi again
no problem, totally understanding… I am sorry – didn`t want to make you
worried, love your blog and things you make, your granny square necklace has
inspired me as well and the idea is sitting in my head (and popping up every
some time) so soon I will start it
thank you
love
I.

I’m with Jennifer – I don’t think I see any responses… I would love it if this did work though. I never know whether to reply to comments on the post or via email… so I usually respond by email (which makes me look like a snob on my post!!). Catch 22.

Hmmm…this really makes the whole thing a bit pointless doesn’t it?
Maybe I’ll just go back to blogger after all. At least that way I get the email address of the people who have it enabled. Such a shame.

It’s a shame the kit didn’t work out! I did receive your responses but it looks like not everybody did which is disappointing. Thanks for posting a link to my squares too. You have some lovely followers who leave lovely comments =)

shame it didn’t work for everyone as the layout works so much better then the blogger one. I wish blogger would get a comment system like that or one like you have with Livejournal. Would make replying so much easier and help with getting a community feeling to some blogs

I did love the JS Comment format. I've no idea why people weren't getting the emails. Maybe I'll email JS Kit & ask them.

I wonder if it depends on whether you respond as a ‘guest’ or some other profile. I was choosing guest each time, if that helps.

Hi Kirsty,
I’ve just gone through my Inbox and found this email from JS-Kit so thought
I’d let you know asap – this message did actually make it through!!
Maybe you can give it another trial run in the future and ask for
feedback… maybe do a test post? I’m sure you’ll get a stack of replies
from regular readers (inc. me). Because it would be a very useful
interactive tool, and would make it so much easier for you to respond
directly from your blog posts.
And of course if it all works out, you might see a few other blogs using
(again, inc. me
Best of luck with it. I think it could be worth another crack.
Happy crafting,
Jen.
