My creative space...

Creative Space Swiss

Good morning!

I've got a couple of last minute jobs to finish off at the old place but then I'm planning on whipping Shannon's latest creative offering up into a cushion for the sewing chair.

You might know that I love red. It has to be just the right red though & this base fabric is ticking that box. It's just a perfect rich red. If you fancy one of these beauties yourself you'd better nick over & see Aunty Cookie.

Visit my favourite space from last week here.

Pop in & add your link if you are playing along this week.

Oh, how's that for timing? I managed to get online just in time to be the first to post. That never happens, since it's evening on Wednesday for me. :)

I love the red, I love the zipper box, but the symbol is probably one I wouldn't have in my home...my hubbie and mum have both been whisked away in ambulances this year, and I have seen enough.
Sorry!
You go for it though! I'm sure it will look quite smashing!

I love red too, but I tend to use it in little splashes rather than a base colour. Though I have a red shirt on today which I love! I also really like your zipper box - it looks like a fabulous place to keep pencils!

Shannon does do a good red doesn't she! I snapped up some of her gorgeous screen printed fabrics the other week, with some beautiful rich reds.

Love your old zipper box, sublime!
And it might be because my mother always bought red for me when I was a child but somehow I never wear red, and very seldom use the color although I love it as a color :)

Great zipper box, made by ICI...that brings back memories. I thought they made just industrial type chemicals but obviously they delved into haberdashery. xxNick
