Things I did in class…

March 9, 2010 6 Comments by Kirsty

When I should have been paying attention in class

when I should have paid attention.

I coasted through school.

Worked just hard enough to get by & spent a lot of time drawing these & writing notes to The Date during class.

I’ve kept these all this time (20 years this year) and I’ve been thinking about them a lot lately & thinking about quilling too.

We’ll see where this goes…

Kirsty I love the way your mind works, and how you let it move from one thing to the next all with the most wonderful results. Can't wait to see what you come up with this time.

Ooohh your childhood sweethearts too! Curly Guy and I have been together since we were in our late teens, not high school though. It’ so nice to grow together hey? I’m keen to see what becomes of those precious memories, I have kept old note books and sketch pads from school, but I couldn’t bear to cut them up even if it might mean I made something better out of them!

I think we had very similar experiences in school, Kirsty – I spent most of my time doodling too. Love your doodles and I can't wait to see what you make with them; how you might choose to extend them etc.

p.s. So sweet that the date is actually high school sweetheart! ;)

oh gosh, I think it's priceless you saved your doodles – sweet. I loved to do that in school too, and still do sometimes, usually when on the phone. And I love to quill. Can't wait to see what you do in that department!

I have so many of these too – along the same lines geometric and swirls and little animals filled up with shapes. Did you use your pen drawing hard along the lines to cut them out like I used to? Will love to see what you make.
