Granny Shrug Front

I’d seen a couple of baby matinee jackets flying around online & decided to have a go at an “upsized” version for myself.

The Big Girl kept telling me how much she loved it & so I pulled out a couple of rounds & gave it to her. I think it looks gorgeous.

Granny Shrug Back

It was very quick to make up as each half is only 5 rounds but I will say the huge hook & yarn were quite hard to manage so it’s not as fast as hexing on a 5mm hook with 8ply.

Just a bit of fun really.

Wow – that is really lovely – go you! I have a looooooooong way to go before I could even contemplate making a garment… roses are as good as I get right now.

Are you going to make another for yourself?

Love it! I know what you mean about the large hooky thing, its a bit tricky to get a good rhythm going don't you think? Worth the effort from what I can see here though, xt
