The latest Op Shop haul & my end-weaving-in-needle (which I had to search the entire house for). I’ve grand plans.

The most exciting thing in my creative space today is this! I’ve grand plans for her too.

We’re going for a little drive today which I’m very excited about … maybe lunch at ~~The Heads~~ Diver Dan’s?

Lovely lace! All the doilies at my house end up as dress ups or as fancy blankets for toys – I keep trying to retrieve them at night!

I'm sure you know how many of your Granny Shrugs are being crocheted around blogland – they're spreading like wildfire! If I see one in real life I'm going to be so excited! You look beautiful in your pics – but I also understand – I always chop my own head off for photos!

Oh I have been searching doilies for a while, slowly getting a collection, but I am after only the soft cotton doilies, I am making a scarf from them all. The picture in my head is of a long creamy/white lacy scarf. Can't wait to see what you have created.

I had a needle-in the-haystack moment too, when I couldn't find a needle I wanted last night. I am pretty sure I threw it out with my sewing scraps a few nights ago…. oh well! I have a replacement now courtesy of the local supermarket.
