Yes ... it's true! I'm knitting a cloud.
The anny blatt angora lambswool blend is quite incredible. I'm not a knitter at all but when I do pick up the sticks by knitting is ridiculously tight. Not with though, she won't tolerate it. Stubborn as I am the yarn refuses to be forced which is quite relaxing actually. It's marshmallow soft & just as light.
Hoping that I don't botch the lot with phase 2.
Look who got up to a bit of boy meets girl craft last week.
Don't forget to pop in & add your link if you're playing along this week.

Looks like a cloud indeed..And incredibly soft...I am a tight knitter too, and have been teaching myself to relax a bit on my recent project...
third week in a row woop woop!!!
wow your yanr looks amazing!
Good Morning! I hope that this is the start of something truly amazing and soft as marshmallows. Good luck :)
Too cute! It really is like a cloud isn't it! Sounds like you had a lovely crafty time - I am always amazed at the multi-talents of Auntie Cookie too, even if she does play down her skills all of the time!
Oh it looks super soft and snuggly.
Yay! You should actually knit a cloud! So cool!
Looks like a very soft cloud! :)
Good morning. Thanks for hosting again. And as a non-knitter, I'm always impressed by your ideas - and that anny blatt looks spectacular. Wonder what you're making...
Wow, it doesn't even look like knitting, it's so fluffy and soft. Fur like, almost? Gorgeous!
Oh it looks just delicious! Makes me want to learn to knit!
Hi Kirsty, have you tried the 'interchangeable needles'? I'm not a knitter but looking to get started. Don't know whether to go 'traditional' or 'mod' as it were!
it looks delicious. i used to be a very tight knitter and i can control it now by resting the right hand needle in the crook of my thumb with the yarn fed around my forefinger. takes a bit of getting used to but works for me
Looks like a beautiful cloud! I'm a tight knitter too so all my knitting projects are small, if I use bigger needles than suggested it usually works out.
Have a lovely day.
I could happily curl up and go to sleep on that cloud!
It's like bum fluff - but sooooo, soooo much prettier! I love it. Must be a dream to handle. Can't wait to see the final reveal.
What a delicious photo!
Looks fab Kirsty!
I wouldn't be surprised if you did indeed knit a cloud!
Looks like a snuggly little creature.
Loving the needles!
xB
with the weather I'm looking at outside that looks so cozy!
WOW it looks all cuddly and warm, it will be lovely to wear. You will never want to take it off :)
i wonder what you are knitting up there, knitting up a storm, so to speak?
much nicer though, cosy and warm, i love the yellow needles
Lovely colour and texture. Have a happy Thursday
You're knitting a cloud and I feel like I'm living in one. There is so much mist here today in Daylesford, very beautiful. Enjoy your knitting xo
That looks so gorgeous. I don't think you need to make anything with it. You could just leave it lying around the house just like that.
Blissful!
I'm joining in on my first creative space:)
That looks amazing already, so soft a gentle, lovely! Can't wait to see it finished...Thanks so much for hosting every week, it's always fun & so great to catch up on everyone's space...

Only been playing along for a few weeks and I really look forward to it every Thursday.
Thanks
Tanya
super fluffy!
my dad said that some people use white cotton gloves to knit with angora {have u heard that?}. he's into knitting :)
To be me it looks more like a lamb than a cloud, but whatever it is, i just want to snuggle it. I'm a tight needle holder too. xo
Ooo I'm loving it! I can almost feel it :) Have fun making. Kx
that yarn looks gorgeous! i just want to touch it and feel the softness... :) look forward to seeing what you make!

Love the cloud!!
That is quite stunning yarn Kirsty. A scarf in the making?
Morning for most of you night for me ... but what a great day to start ... with new projects :D
It must be the week for clouds - you've been knitting a cloud, I've been making clouds in the form of pink marshmallow! Glad to be playing along, as always. :)
Soft and fluffy, no rain in that one, just all smiles. :)
oohh, love this pic!
Lovely yarn. Clever you to knit a cloud:)
Lovely yarn and nice picture;-)
*Love* that wool it looks gorgeous:)
Great wool, makes me want to touch it!
I would love to see little knitted clouds hanging in that fab wool.
HI EVERYONE...i am doing a bit of history, reminiscing, and quilting ...xx
what a beautiful soft grey :)
Love the wool, I am knitting something similar, do you get the little fibres all over you too?
Divine!
And another tight knitter here - I can't even imagine what I'd do to yarn like that ;-)
Maybe this exercise will help to loosen your tension although I think it is an internal thing. My mum's spinning was always super tight and my youngests crochet is so loose it is almost floppy. Cherrie
I love getting to see everyones projects!
Jana
I finger knit with this yarn with the kids, they love it as well as I do. So soft and no matter if you mess up the furry hairs masks it.
It looks so incredibly soft, beautiful.
Even as a work in progress it's a lovely thing to look at - those yellow needles with the grey yarn and very pretty.
A beautiful photo of grey and yellow. Such soft and beautiful yarn.
What are you making, it certainly looks beautiful & soft.
I want to cuddle it!
Tight knitters pour the best drinks. x
OOOOooooo... the fuzzy loveliness!
Love the grey soft yarn...lovely photograph!
Jana
It looks so incredibly soft. I wish I could touch it through my computer screen.
Maybe expensive, luxury wool has been my missing ingredient all these years! I knit so tight that you could use my scarfs as ropes!
Looks like such a treat to work with, I am also a new tight knitter, I can sympathize with the frustration!
HAPPY cloud!
How gorgeous is that cloud of knitting! It looks oh-so-soft...I just want to reach through my monitor and touch it.
Off to visit some other creative spaces!
My knitting and crocheting is very loose, I haven't got how to keep control of the yarn properly yet.
Love the cloud!
Oh it looks wonderfully soft and I love the colour too, so pretty!
And true to form you're smoke and mirrors-ing and not letting on AT ALL what mischief it is that you are truly up to...
it looks alot like grey fairyfloss!
That really does look like clouds - glad it's Ok to knit - it looks like it would be hard to see what you're doing!
the yarn does look so fluffy and light - cant wait to see the finished product!!!
It reminds me of the fur of a bunny. So soft, light and grey. Very nice! x

I loved reading that interview featuring yourself - great to know where your blog name comes from, I've wondered that each and every week when I post my creative space :)
The yarn is divine. I can knit but leave it to Grandma as she is a beautiful knitter. Aren't there an amazing array of different yarns available now!!! Enjoy!
What lovely wool...makes you want to touch it! It can be a bugger to knit though ;-)
Loving the yarn & it's always a pleasure to hear about Auntie Pat.

That looks amazing, really fluffy! I love the color too! Have a great day :)
I love looking at other peoples' creative spaces. Mine at the moment looks like one of those houses where they find a body that's been there three weeks under a huge pile of stuff.
