Seriously love this. I wonder if Len might have been a frustrated electrician? I love the fact that these lights were strung in such a temporary way & yet they are hard wired and appear to have been in situ for at least a couple of decades.

Ahh, priceless. And you know that yellowed masking tape is all dry and brittle and if you touched this display it would probably fall apart!

This reminds me of our favourite holiday house that has actual wood walls with a bit of tinsel stuck permanently to the ceiling
