My creative space…
Wonking it up. I’m usually not good at wonk with hand work. My stitches usually end up even despite my best wonky efforts.
I’ve found the key to the wonk & thought you might enjoy being let in on the secret.
Hold your work at arm’s length.
Lovely, lovely space (I’ve fallen quite in love – can you tell) right here.
Don’t forget to pop in & add your link if you’re playing along this week.

Hand work – the bane of my existence! One day I am going to hand piece a quilt, but I may have to wait until I'm old and mad and keep forgetting how bad I am at it ….

Can't believe I'm second today! Just clicked over and here I am…
I really admire your patience for handstitching – don't have much of that at the moment. And those shawls – can understand your infatuation!

see, I on the other hand would probably be quite good at the wonk, I can't even cut a straight line. Another intriguing project Kirsty.

My secret for wonk: Me.
It's that simple, everything I touch is wonky… it's my trademark!
I like that you are pushing yourself out of your comfort zone toward wonk… I'm trying to move toward precision – maybe we'll meet in the middle one day?

Oh yes, not being neat & accurate must be difficult as your hand stitching is always so refined & even. I'm not so good with the 'organic' craft either, i like symetry, thus being a quilter. Love Posie
