My creative space…

It’s all about “on the go”.

The kids have athletics today so I won’t be around. I’m prepared though, I’ve been slowly working away on this crochet piece during swimming lessons & music lessons. It just stays in the car & when I get half an hour here & there I’ve got something to keep me busy.

Lovely space from last week right here.

Have a good day today everyone. I’ll catch you next week.

That’s what I love about crochet too, it’s great for long car trips as a passenger or just little bits here and there.

Did i tell you I learnt to crochet… I haven't blogged it yet because I want to shock everyone hehe. We have done a few trips to Sydney and waited in hospitals and I love that I can just crochet a granny on the spot. I have your beanie tutorial lined up next!! hehe

Portable projects are brilliant. And crochet is perfect because you can put it down and pick it up at any point! Enjoy the athletics carnival – at least it's lovely and sunny (for now!).

Argh. Blogger is playing up again. Just discovered that my comment to you didn't 'take' before. Great idea on leaving a project in the car for idle moments. I may have to sneak a couple of sock monkeys into my car. All that toy fill takes up a bit more space than some lovely crochet though!

I always have knitting or crochet in the car, it seems to get done rather quickly while waiting for the bus/school/dr's. I love it on weekend when hubbie drives to soccer, I get a bit done as well. Enjoy athletics day today. My two have school photos, and this morning were deciding on what faces to pull for their photos. oh gosh!! I begged them please do nice smiles for your school photos. I promised we can do silly photos this afternoon at home and we can do a mock 'studio' up for them to play with.

loving the dark yarn, a bit of a favourite for me at the moment. I always take a little project to swimming too, trouble is, it never comes out of the bag, there's always someone up for a chat, I don't suppose it would be rude to talk & work a little hook at the same time…

I have a similar piece which has done a few trips to swimming and is due to join me tomorrow at the athletics carnival. This is all new to me, but it dawned on me the other day that I could have knitted or crocheted a field by now, after 12 years of early childhood and sitting in playgrounds, swim pools and various halls. Looking forward to seeing what this one is.
    Have a lovely week.

[...] In my creative space today is a crochet wool basket. It used to have sides, but I lost count of my stitches and it got all wonky and I had to rip back to the base. I started it because I wanted to have a mindless project. I guess even squares aren’t completely mindless. More creative spaces over at Kirsty’s always-beautiful space. [...]
