My creative space…
It’s all about the slow burn projects at my place at the moment. I’ve got the white quilt, a bit of stitchery, the car crochet & a bit of knitting. There are also quite a few projects that have been put on the back burner waiting for more time.
I think perhaps a few too many things on the go – meaning I’m getting no where fast with any of them…sigh.

I totally understand – I'm all for quick gratification projects peppered through my slower ones. Makes me feel like I'm achieving something

I am totally with you. I feel like my brain is warped with ideas but I have so many in process projects. I can't even think about writing ideas down for fear they may take form and create even more wip's. Here's hoping for magical amounts of free time to get some things acomplished.

at least your projects have gotten past the first hurdle, and are "on the go"… mine are mostly still tucked up in a corner of my brain…

I always love your photos — great colors and focus. Inspired by your crochet pillow from yesterday — amazing how little things like pillows can transform a room. Thanks for the tutorial!

That's probably one of the hardest things about being creative and having so many ideas flowing so many projects you want to do, yet there never seems to be enough time to do them all in the time frame you hoped to.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your week and you feel a greater sense of achievement soon.

It's hard to believe that creativity can slow you down, but it can. Just for a bit though… you'll complete them all, while still planning more

I do that too! I'm always somewhat jealous of my mother who can stick to one project until it is done. Me, I have bits scattered all over the house. Hope you find time to make some progress though

Meh, sometimes sucks doesn't it? Too many things not enough time. I finally finished a couple plush toys this week…having put off simply sewing the stuffing hole closed for about 6 months-it took all of about 20 minutes…

One project at a time is just so boring, you'll get there I'm sure. Meantime I love seeing your progress, it inspires me to keep going on my multiple projects (and ispires a fair few new projects too dang it!) Happy stitching

Pah. Who needs single projects that you sit down and finish? How boring would that be? Slow burn sounds good to me. Makes it even more worth it when it's all finished. Have a great day. X

I know the pain of too many projects not enough time. I don’t understand people who get bored; I always have a billion things I could be doing!

Love a 'few' projects on the go, there is always something to be done, I like to have a quickie in the car, then something a little more timely by my chair, then in the studio is usually a bigger project, not to mention a scarf always, always, always on needles and/or hook. (Scarves for charity, lots to be made.)

loving the slow process myself right now, so much lovely stuff you have on the go. Adored your crochet cushion from yesterday – I am about to put a little kit together for my pile…

I sure know that feeling. It can be nice to have a slow project or two in the background, but when too many of them build up … I've been on a mad dash to finally get some things finished, concentrating on one at a time, but once I get there, it'll probably start all over again!

I usually feel like I have too many things on the go, and don't get very far very fast on any of them. Ahhh… if only we were the types of people to be satisfied with just a couple of things… but na! I'd get bored then

Oh, yes, the slow burn. I'm trying to consolidate a bit at the moment and get a couple of those ones completed so there's a bit more space in my brain and around my craft space! Good luck with crossing some off your list…
