My creative space…

October 21, 2010 64 Comments by Kirsty

I’m just playing around with some paint chips. I’ve got a little plan for the smallest’s room. I think she’ll like it.

Oh & I’m plotting my next lino cutting move too & thinking about all the half finished crochet projects I really want to finish up.

Do pop in & add your link if you’re playing along this week.

Oh to play with all your unfinished projects . . . it's always a mix of procrastination & very speedy results (as you've done so much of the work already). Have fun & loving the Lino Cutting, although, still a little mentally scarred from my year 8 art teacher showing us 'how to', then showing us her massive hand scar where she explained 'how not'. Love Posie

Love your lino print from previous post looks really cool. Have one of those block things and carving set somewhere in the sewing room might have to get them out. Paint chips are lovely too. We are contemplating painting my daughters room and we need to do something more with her room, it is the smallest in the house and she has the most clothes of anyone… I think we are going to bite the bullet and go a bunk of somekind to get more underbed storage.

Love paint chip cards. Have quite a collection myself. Of course I am thinking of painting my whole house various shades of green!! – well today anyways! Tomorrow it might be orange in all it's hues! *giggle* Lucky we have a handful of paint shops to visit, I just have to remember to keep them in order. If you are lucky enough, staff turnover makes it fairly easy. Have a wonderful weekend at your place.

I used to collect paint chips when I was a child. I was always in awe of the pretty little squares. These days I keep a chip of whatever colour we have used in my purse for decorating purposes.
