The stormy sea…
A bracelet.
It was far too fiddly really but I am chuffed with the result.
If you’re a die hard you might remember I was trying to fashion myself a bracelet like this. It’s been on the backburner for a good long time but certainly not forgotten.
OK so I may not have quite hit the mark but I am quite pleased with my crafty take on the theme.
I just crocheted chains of embroidery floss into chains & then attached all the separate chains to a very nifty bit of hardware I purchased at a beading supply shop.
As an aside…
If you are a die hard. Thanks a million…for putting up with the drivel & offering support & encouragement when I have a “win”. You’re tops.

I like your version. I have a set of those bangles and the only trouble with them is they can get caught on stuff and ping off – I've lost quite a few over the years. Bet that won't happen with your version

This is gorgeous, well worth the effort on the fiddly bits!

I think it looks fantastic Kirsty – those colours are just gorgeous. If a die-hard is someone who loves what you do then I guess I'm dying hard

Total die-hard here, Kirsty. Even though it is painful to visit because you are just so darn clever and I am just so darn not clever. But I love you anyway and I would wear that gorgeous bracelet with a big "I made this" sign pointing to it!!! x

I once tried to make myself a necklace similar to your muse bangles. I used wire and strip of leather. I don't recommend you try it – I had a good many little cuts on the back of neck and the finished product was horribly twisted and kinked which I couldn't fix no matter what I did. Also, the wire tarnished quickly and I was left with a grey neck. All class.
Your thread version is a winner and you should be proud!

If you knit, my headbands on my current post make really good bracelets folded double!

How about a badge that says
Kootoyou Die Hard with crossed crochet hooks on it.
I'd wear it with pride.
