My creative space…

January 20, 2011 54 Comments by Kirsty

I’m fighting the big girl for time at the machine today.

I’ve hacked into an old feed sack & am working on easing gently back into the making.

I wonder if you guys have been making or if like me you’ve lazed away the summer hols.

Do pop in & add your link if you’re playing along today.

Hi Kirsty! I am exactly like you… I took it easy and relaxed over the Christmas break but have gotten back in to it all in the past few weeks. I think that new creations have bought a lot of new motivation for me. Have fun fighting for the sewing machine :)

I've been competing for machine time too! So funny, but nice I think :) My girls received Harvest Textile Cloud and Bat softie kits for xmas and have been fighting to get machine time to finish them. Happy Creative Space, Kirsty! Here's to a great year ahead. I hope you're feeling more creatively mojo-ed now? Kx

Well, if anyone can make a feedsack in to something amazing, it's going to be you! Just to let you know I've been noticing your noticing and it's been amazing. The horse photos sent me straight back to my twelve year-old self (never did get a blood horse!).

Thanks for hosting here again. I look forward to seeing your finished item. I have been making and lazing, sometimes at the same time. The last few days however, I have been on a mission of the library bag kind. I have called it Task Force Library Bag and so far have enough to finish sewing 39 to donate to a primary school in QLD. Thanks for hosting Creative Space.
