with the coffee sack, the hook, the machine & me.

I’m taking my own “have a crack” advice & have listed it in the sometimes shop.

If green isn’t quite your thing I’m happy to make to order. Just drop me an email (in the sidebar or the drop down at the top of the page) & we can work together to make one just for you.

Awesome, Kirsty. I was eyeing some of these reels that had… um… “fallen of the back of a truck”.. ahem… and was scheming what I could do with them.

Jaw on floor. Not because I’m surprised you’ve made fabulousness – although you do a lot of ante-upping. More because your shop is OPEN. At least fleetingly!

I’m imagining a fabulous cafĂ© with your stools around tables out the front, and some similarly upholstered chairs inside!

This second stool is just as lovely as the first. You have totally outdone yourself!! The combination of your crochet, jute cross stitch and selection of typography is so perfectly perfect! I love old spools like this, we had one as a child’s table when I was little. I’m always drawn to them, but never in a million years would I have thought of covering one. I’m loving that you are enjoying coffee sacks, Kirsty. It makes me feel that much closer to you. They are challenging and forgiving at the same time, wouldn’t you say? I must put this up for all to see. love you! xo

Where do you find such beautiful hessian? I was just given a new footstool (finally, yay), which needs stripping and recovering, and was hoping to find some rough cotton to recover it, or some sack cloth.
Do I visit a bulk goods store?? Wouldn’t know where to look.

Love the spool stool! (and the concrete floor).
