My creative space…

February 3, 2011 47 Comments by Kirsty

It looks just like a baby chick doesn’t it? It’s not though. It’s going to be part of a little embroidered piece I’m working on.

We are all about the colour at the moment…colour for fences…& excitingly colour in the garden too. I’m going out to the nursery with Trace to check out plants this morning.

Mucho excitement.

Do pop in & add your link if you’re playing along this week.

I'm loving yellow at the moment, I have just filled my front garden with yellow marigolds. I call them my little pops of sunshine! I'm interested to see how you use this in embroidery, have a great Thursday =)

There is not the slightest shade of green in these thumbs. But I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Thursday than at the nursery creating a garden!

As far as covert craft goes, I have no doubt you were an undercover agent in a previous life.

I love wandering the humid aisles of plants at the nursery. They have the very best nurseries up the mountain near here, but sadly not all the plants that thrive in the mountains will thrive at our house.

Which we discovered with the death of $120 ornamental.

    Have fun and buy wisely!
