My creative space…
I’m working on a bit of a decorator challenge.
I don’t think I’ve shared a pic of the kid’s lounge but it’s all decked out in apple green & blue. The walls are looking a bit bare though. I got lucky on a little thrifting adventure recently & purchased a book full of working drawings for the State Bank of Victoria.
I’m going to put them up on the wall to add a bit of interest (& perhaps encourage one of them to become a builder).
Do pop in & add your link if you’re playing along this week.

Take it from me, this is so much cleverer than putting stuff on the walls to encourage one of ‘em to be an artist…

Building is where it’s at – my Man already has Suspence’s future mapped out for him… or should that be blueprinted…??

Wow, they take me back. My grandfather had blueprints like that for the house he and my grandmother built when my mother was a girl. How lovely.

What a great idea. My son Mihali is not overly interested in craft or drawing but he is fascinated by skeletons so i have taken to putting medical charts around his room and puzzles of the human body. It is about time we had a Doctor in the family.
Its great to be back at Creative Space, it is looking good by the way.

Man I would just love a dedicated “kid’s lounge”. As it is our lounge room is also our dining room, my craft room, the occasional bedroom, and kid’s playroom. Bloody Sydney!
Can’t wait to see how these look up on the wall.

What a great idea! We’re hoping that all the lego playing going on is going to encourage our little one to become an architect or engineer – it worked for her uncle!

what an amazing thrifting find! Why don’t they ever seem to have decent stuff at the places I go to?? All I ever seem to find are three year old copies of Womens Weekly and fake wedgwood tea cups…
