crochet & cross stitch

I was just killing time really.

Sitting at the desk…wasting time on the internet…and hooking at the same time.

I made it too small & have since had to cut it off my pins-and-needles-blueish-purple ring finger.

I might make another…or I might not.

If you’ve got good eyesight you could have a crack too. It’s just a rectangle of single crochet which I then cross stitched & seamed up the back.

I used a .75mm hook & a bit of left over embroidery floss.

Love it! Have been meaning to try making a ring sometime but just haven’t plucked up the courage. Check these ones out – too funny: http://www.toggle.co.nz/large-golden-soft-ring.html#NP=cb3e1eb6bdf7b4417042c8dd33d44985

Cute. Pity about the blue finger though. I rather abused my .75 by using it to lever something out of a tight spot. It didn’t take too kindly to that and broke so now I have to do without. Cherrie
