A big undertaking…

I’m using three strands of Ella Rae Classic Superwash held together (that’s equal to about 30ply) & a 15mm hook.

Hoping that this piece will curl in on itself & make something amazing. It’s very slow going…working with such big stuff doesn’t make for quick & easy handling.

I love working with double strands, but I’ve never tried triple. I hope you’ll show us the lovely thing it becomes!

OMG Kirsty – you are so inspiring…(I mean that that. How to say it in writing so the person knows you really mean it? Need to invent new font sinceritta). I hadn’t thought of doing that. So simple and so effective. I love it. Great colour too Kx

I do love that colour. It’s funny, I always thought the thicker the yarn the faster and easier the project…shows how little I know

can’t wait to see what it will be … and how hooking with 3 strands goes for you – i want to make a foot-stool-thingy, but am a little scared about using 3 strands!
