Toasting sangas…

November 2, 2011 14 Comments by Kirsty

I bought this cast iron sink on Ebay. I figured it would make a much cuter (& cheaper) alternative to a commercial fire pit.

Pretty confident that The Date would hate it I managed to lift & install the thing by myself & then set to work preparing my bed of Heat Beads for the jaffle iron. I think I need to invest in a bbq starter though…to avoid blackening the pretty pink enamel any further.

I had peanut butter and banana. It was every bit as good as I remembered…delicious. We’re having some mates over for toasted sangas on Friday night too – I can’t wait.

The pink looks amazing against the charcoal wall.
    Shame about the blackening bit.

You are having a very pink week..if the taps worked you’d have the perfect fire extinguishing system as well!

That might just be the spunkiest re-use of a bathroom sink that I ever did see Kirsty!
