Bricks & mortar….
was sick as a dog
& treated the lips
the heart was wide open
& raw & exposed
felt myself unravel
& tried to hold it together
received the giant pin in the post
& got excited about who to pin next
put my faith in the fortunes
& a cunning fox too
reminded myself that home is the family
& love is the glue
packed the big off to camp
& the small ran for her life
hoped the hand would be good
& the stars would align
for my girl who is ace
& the whole crew too
sold the house
& didn’t want to moz us with the pic
(so I’m late for the week)
