My creative space : think pink…
I’ve got to tell you guys – I’m completely wrung out. The bloody house was sold & then it wasn’t! I’m willing the karma train to stop at my place on the weekend. Surely, I’ve been putting enough good stuff out into the universe to have the train pull in to the kootoyoo station??? (no need to respond in the affirmative or otherwise here – purely rhetorical)
I’m cutting myself some slack & I’ve dumped the heirloom for the week.
Instead I’m having a bit of fun with builders twine & neon (& I think nails too). I’ve cooked up a fun project & I’m itching to see it “become”.
I’m also planning on getting back to the heart of kootoyoo & will bore you witless with my progress shots on this one. I need to remind myself to slow down & notice the small things & really savour the actual making rather than the finished something.
So, strap yourselves in and prepare to be inundated with fluro pink.

ooohh love that neon thread! Are you making one of those nail and thread art thingamabobs? yes,…that’s totally the technical name for it…….totally gorgeeous! Anyhoo bummer about the house….home the karma trains heads your way! I hear you are hosting The Nursery with Tim? I snagged his last spot on the monday. I’m so excited. can’t wait! and I’m intrigued to see how your bright creation progresses!

I love the builder’s line. I have this one and a poppin’ orange one that I Knitting Nancied into lengths for reef knot necklaces. Now that I’ve got the tension even (I need a nancy with a fatter middle hole – mine is a bit tough on the fingers… best never read that out of context) I’ll be whipping up a few Chrissy presents while travelling into work.
