& spent a few days with the fam

cared less about football

still felt a bit beaten

spent time with a little bird

caught up with some shapers
& noted the time had changed nothing
pondered the red thread
& stretch & tangle too
started a new book
& read on the train
thought a lot about time
& what can be achieved in 32 minutes
found a place that was neutral
& let go of the eject button
took the day out
& soaked up the good stuff
made a few notes
& took a few snaps

kicked off the new start
& questioned myself
smashed a beautiful book
& marked lots of words
tied my heart in a knot
& will carry the gentle songs for life
felt stuff spiral a bit
& tightened my grip
opened the doors to the wardrobe
& made firm the click plans
had a ball with the scanner
& stuff that shimmers & shines
decided it’s about permission
& probably expectation too
had the walls come down
& the framing go up
sailed out of screen printing
& put myself on the clock
celebrated a milestone
& had the house full
stitched some small stitches

enjoyed the very last week
& stuck close to home
packed the boy off to tent

had one of my best shopping days
