I’m sure that you’ve noticed the general lack of creating lately. Pretty much all my creative energy is being taken up with the click stuff.

Still running like a mad woman but instead of coming up with ideas of things to make (& how to make them), I’m busy building images and deciding what props I need to keep my eye out for.

While we were away for a few days this past week I did manage a bit of “crafting”. OK so maybe I’m stretching the friendship a bit but it did involve weaving. I only had to invest about 15 minutes & I’m quite chuffed with the result. Just the sort of thing I seem to be able to manage at the moment.

This is the Canon IXUS camera that I was given by Canon for winning the final round of the Canon Island competition. He is NOT a giveaway. The race has been run & won by Jennie. I absolutely hate giveaways (as you may well know) so I decided to draw the winner from those lovely folk who gave me the thumbs up when I said thanks a while back.

There are a few other cryptic messages (as is my want) associated with the image in this post … I had planned a rather lengthy rant on this subject but you know what? I’ve had a bit of time to cool off – it’s water under the bridge & a great learning experience. That coupled with the fact that the only thing I hate more than a giveaway is an online whinge so I’m keeping my trap shut.

So just thanks a bunch to all of you for supporting me during the competition. I promise it won’t happen again. xx

…you never know what you’re going to get! Things are kind of whimpering on the public face of kootoyoo aren’t they? Sorry about that. BUT, behind the scenes I seem to be doing more than I ever have. I wonder what that’s about? I don’t know if you noticed I missed posting last week’s collection. It’s here if you’d like to take a peek.

turned my family room into a house for bears
& took a few snaps
spent a lot of time moving lights

cooked a few “in a flash” meals
& noticed a general trend towards dijon at our place

enjoyed the labour day break
& bonded with the fam
finished off Friday Night Lights
& feel a bit lost without it
helped the little guy paint his racer
& wasn’t surprised by his pack up effort
chased the setting sun with the timer
& thought about cable release
stopped in at the oppy
& bought another vase
walked a sweet kid to school
& picked up a vanilla shake
made copious notes
& enjoyed a new challenge
prepared to be glamourous
& had to be blue instead
gave a guy a black eye
& then clicked the results
killed time at american rag
& made a dint in the click savings
had a few coffees in
& a few diamond takeaways too
chatted about superheroes
