I’m just a big sap really. This is the space I share with The Date. It’s chock full of sentimental reminders of our togetherness. You can take a gander at those here.

I didn’t actually marry the boy next door (he lived a couple of kms down the road). I have known him since I was 12 though & we did start tracking square when I was 17.

I was lucky enough to be able to see Jane Hall’s Spring range before her store opened today & am now the owner of the fabulous you are my salvation pillowcase set.

It’s rare that new things make their way into the everyday at my place. I’m into sameness.

In an effort to drop the Christmas KGs (& also in support of the recently lactose & fructose free Date) I’ve dumped the nougat daily treats. They’ve been replaced by blueberries straight from the freezer.

Just so tasty.

I’m quite fascinated by still life.

I went to the library & did a bit of research recently. Not content with the traditional symbols I made up my own & have made his & hers portraits.

The poster was designed by my aunt for the production when she was at school.

It made me smile so I gave it a very light press & framed it (Ikea style) & I’ve put the poster above The Date’s side of the bed.

And another thing…The Date went to school at Carey & I went to school at Strathcona.

Today I’ve dragged all my bits and pieces outside to enjoy the kiss of the (fairly rare at the moment) sun.

I’ve got the new issue of Mixtapezine & I’m looking forward to reading it and doing a bit of mixtape inspired craft too. Just the ticket really…ignition from other people. Maybe something in Mixtapezine will spark a little crafty flame for you too.
